If you are getting an error on the update manager (For Lucid Lynx or Linux Mint 9) which goes something like this: Failed to fetch http://packages.medibuntu.org/dists/lucid/Release.gpg Something wicked happened resolving 'packages.medibuntu.org:http' (-5 - No address associated with hostname) then check out my fix here I don't know if this error is distro or version specific or if it was entirely due to my new modem.
